Unfortunately, there are now many companies & web sites taking physician's "public" information & creating sites that claim to represent &/or rate doctors. We have sadly already had some negative experiences with a few of these sites, including problems with incorrect information about the physician & practice. Many of these sites also serve as a forum for disgruntled individuals to anonymously make (sometimes slanderous) comments about a physician or practice.

We do NOT ask our patients to post positive comments about us & we refuse to sign over our rights to these sites by signing up with them. Some of these doctor rating sites have even resorted to requiring that a physician give them limitless control over the site content without recourse. They often will not allow a physician to have his information removed from their site, corrections to incorrect information is almost impossible to change & they offer no format for removing slanderous comments. Meanwhile, they claim to exist in order to help people make informed decisions about choosing the best doctor at no charge to the public. Actually, these sites make an incredible profit by selling advertising or by pay-per-click schemes when people log onto them.

Neither Dr. Jorge A. Sabin, Ambulatory Medicine Associates, LLC nor Saluda Lake Medical Center willingly participate on any of those sites. THIS is our only authorized site!

As for "rating" our practice: Dr. Jorge A. Sabin, MD, PhD & Saluda Lake Medical Center have served the Greenville, SC area since January of 2004. Our practice has grown from word of mouth referrals. Dr. Sabin holds an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina & has previously been licensed & practiced in other states & countries. Many of our patients have been with us since we opened in 2004. "The truth speaks for itself"!
